The Release of FIFTY FROGS! by Tawdra Kandle, Author

The Release of FIFTY FROGS! by Tawdra Kandle, Author

Vivian is sick of dating. Sick of the way guys treat her, sick of living and crying by when and if they call . . . she’s just done.

When her aunt reminds her that a girl has to kiss a lot of frogs before she finds her prince--Aunt Gail says that number is fifty--Vivian decides she’s taking control of her dating life: she’s going to go on a series of first dates only, and each one must end in a kiss. She begins chronicling each date--the good, the bad and the downright unbelievable--with a plan to turn the stories into an in-depth magazine series about the realities of dating in the twenty-first century.

Everything’s going along according to plan until Vivian hits a bump in her road with Frog Number Five, who doesn’t seem to understand his role in this deal. And despite Vivian’s determination to make it all the way to the big five-oh, when fate keeps throwing this same man across her path, she begins to wonder if maybe it’s time to ditch the plan . . . and kiss just one more frog.

Review: The Policewoman

The Policewoman The Policewoman by Justin W.M. Roberts
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

The Police Woman by Justin W. M. Roberts is a very intense read. At first, I was having trouble because for me it started out slow. Didn’t know if the pace was going to pick up or not. But once I got through the background he was giving and who the players were it really picked up. And the action kept going all the way through till the end. Not very often is a writer able to really blend action with a developing love story but it is there and it is done supremely well. The characters, the plots, the twists, and turn, kept me engrossed in the book always waiting for the next surprise. This book made my adrenaline pump and my heart reach out to the characters near the end. I won’t ruin it for you, you got to read it yourself and see if you are touched by it.

Review: Dragon's Gift: The Huntress Complete Series

Dragon's Gift: The Huntress Complete Series Dragon's Gift: The Huntress Complete Series by Linsey Hall
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Ancient Magic – Waking up in the middle of nowhere with no memories except a few words among two other girls that you have no memory of would be horrifying in itself. Then to figure out you have powers that are forbidden would definitely make me want to run and hide. Cass, Nix, and Del become very strong women/sisters in a world that is strange and confusing to them in the beginning then when things start to take a turn and Aidan (The Origin himself) shows up things get even rockier. Cass and Aidan make a team to be reckoned with once Cass finally lets go even for a small amount of time. Linsey Hall grabbed me with The Mythean Arcana series and holds on tight with this one. I can't wait to read more of this series.

Mirror Mage – Nightmares of a past that she can't remember and when those nightmares become her present reality things get scarier than before. Del, Nix, Cass, Aiden, Conner, and Claire all come together to help save one little girl while Del, Nix, and Cass try to keep their secret. Things come to light but more things stay in mystery. Aiden and Cass start discovering each other more and more. Secrets can keep you safe but they can also get you captured, as Cass finds out quickly. The monster is lurking and the women want to find and destroy him. Linsey Hall keeps pulling me in deeper with this second book of the Dragon's Gift series.

Stolen Magic – I couldn't imagine losing 15 years of my memory and then very slowly getting it back. That, to me, would be torture in itself. Aiden, Cass, Nix, and Del make one heck of a team when they work together. Now on a mission to save the world the sisters find themselves piecing together not only their past but possibly the reason what the Monster is up to. Aiden and Cass start getting closer to each other and opening up to each other more. Linsey Hall has caught me in her web of words and hasn't let go yet. I can't wait for more in this series.

Eternal Magic – Aiden, Del, Nix, and now Connor and Claire teaming up to help Cass work together very well. Aiden and Cass are getting closer even through all the chaos that has become their life. Cass, Del, and Nix are finding uncovering more secrets of their forgotten past. Victor is getting ever closer. With secrets being revealed and more to unravel working together is the only way to go for this band of friends. Linsey Hall has kept me captured in this series straight from the beginning and I can't wait for more.

Infinite Magic – This is the ultimate battle and things are stacked against the six of them. The three sisters and their three friends work together like clockwork. Cass has come into her new powers and is afraid to let it loose on her enemy in fear of harming her family, but when push comes to shove she is a force to be reckoned with. Cass and Aidan have become a whole lot closer and the heat between them is flaming hot. Linsey Hall really put me inside her story and now I am wanting even more.

Review: Fugitive of Magic

Fugitive of Magic Fugitive of Magic by Linsey Hall
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I have always had a weak spot for the underdogs. They are truly stronger than they let on. You have 3 FireSouls, a Shifter, Warden of the Underworld, and now a Vampire Hybrid what can be better.

Review: The Flawed Series Box Set

The Flawed Series Box Set The Flawed Series Box Set by Becca J. Campbell
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Empath (Flawed, #1) - Growing up isolated from the outside world because of a gift/curse that Jade has no control over had to have been hard, especially when she finally goes out on her own into the real world. She starts to learn things about herself that she would've never known if she wouldn't have gotten out of the isolation of her protective parents. She finally meets Logan who can control his own feelings to where Jade is able to feel her own, only to be left alone all over again. She finds Cam, Josh, and Chloe Schuyler, siblings that aren't hard to be around, and clings to their emotions when things around her get too overwhelming, but soon finds that, although out of her control, those emotions are slowly becoming her own. She is confused and unsure about anything until she is in danger and the one person that she knows can help her comes to her rescue. Becca Campbell did an amazing job with this story, making me feel as though I was right there with them, can't wait for more.

Constricted (Flawed #1.5) - I do have to say, first off...you definitely have to read the first book in this series to understand what is going on in this one. I feel for Logan and his predicament that he has put himself into. He runs from his past and starts to run from his future as well. He is a smart man just confused about things. Finally able to confront his past but unsure how to go about it. Then he is faced with yet another problem that he is a bit afraid to confront but really wants to. Becca Campbell did an awesome job bringing this book to life and making me want more.

Outsider (Flawed, #2) - Ethan now Nic very creepy. This series keeps getting better with every book and very suspenseful. Josh has been my favorite in this series so far with his quiet, shy nature. All he wants is to be special but what he doesn't realize is he is special just the way he is. Things change for him and he finally feels he has a purpose until he starts ousting those that he holds dear. Then when the unexpected happens and he is faced with cold hard reality he realizes all he wants is for his family and friends to be safe and happy. There is so much love and friendship in this whole series. Becca Campbell really pulled me in and hasn't let me go yet. I can't wait to read more in this series.

Protector (Flawed, #3) - Logan and Jade are 2 of my favorite characters in this series. They have a chemistry together that is endless. Logan always the protector and Jade always loving and caring, wanting to help those in need whenever she can. When things start coming together only to almost fall apart again, these two work together and take charge with help from a very quiet and very scared patient, Hugh, and his light, Kelsey. Becca Campbell really pulls everything together in this story and pulled me farther into the series. I can't wait to read more.

The Father Hunt (Flawed #3.5) - As with the rest of this series this book has some mystery to be solved and secrets brought to light. Graham and Violet set out to solve the mystery of who his father is on their yearly vacation and what they find out is so very shocking. Becca Campbell really knows how to suck you into her world and keep you there wanting for more.

Enchanter (Flawed, #4) - Talk about bittersweet, this book has it all. Violet on a very scary rampage, Jade in emotional turmoil, and Logan is wrapped up in it all, leading to one crazy ride that grabs your attention from the start. With the help of Chloe and Graham, Jade starts moving with her abilities and emotions instead of against them. Becca Campbell has won me over with the very first book of this series and I haven't looked back since.
